The Florida Department of Transportation toll enforcement process was implemented to maximize collection of toll revenue. Tolls can be paid electronically with a prepaid account on all Florida toll roads and most bridges. Some toll locations accept cash while others may be All Electronic Cashless lanes where cash payment is not accepted. Failure to pay a toll will result in receiving an unpaid toll document. Documents will be issued to the first registered owner of the vehicle and will be mailed to the best known address provided by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV). Failure to pay the document by the Due Date may result in the following actions:
